Hi there! I’m Mary Margaret Swets. Welcome to my little world.

Growing up, all I wanted to do was draw.

I loved the idea of creating a visual representation of what was in my mind for others to see and understand.

As I’ve gotten older, this hasn’t changed. It is what has driven me to continue to hone my craft.

My favorite artists, whose work has inspired me throughout the years, are Beatrix Potter, John Singer Sargent, Sari Shryack, Mary Engelbreit, Edith Holden, and Tasha Tudor.

Some of the things that are most inspiring to me are animals, plants, old fashioned things, and people! I love creating portraits of people, both real and imaginary. Humans are fascinating to me, and I adore delving into the psychological depths that are there to be explored in our faces.
